新年あけましておめでとうございます。
今年もアクティメソッド浜松高丘校をどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
皆さんの今年の新年の抱負は何ですか？
Emi先生の今年の新年の抱負は、浜松高丘校キッズに音読を頑張ってもらう一年にしていこうと思います。

Emi先生は、学生の時は、全然英語に興味がなく全然勉強をしない学生でした。（英語だけでなくそもそも勉強に興味がありませんでした🤣）
学校を卒業してホテルのフロントデスクで働き、海外のお客様と接することで英語に興味が湧き、そこからイギリスや日本で英語を勉強し始めました。
英語学習者としては、とっても遅いスタートだったと思います。それでも英語講師として様々な英語教室や専門学校で英語講師として30年近く働いてこられたこと、アメリカ人の親友が出来たこと、日本にいる外国人の友達がたくさん出来たのは、読書が好きで英語で読書を始めたこと、非常にたくさんの洋書を読んだこと（今も読んでいます!)、読書する際に音読をしたこと（今もしています!)がとても大きく役立っている思います。Emi先生は、音読の大切さや効果を身をもって実感しています。英語音読信者です。自分がNative Speakerのように言えない単語はそもそも聞き取れないのです。音読は目、口、耳、指を使って効果的に英語を身体に染み込ませていくことができます。←この身体に英語を染み込ませることがとっても英語の上達には重要です
今年は浜松高丘校キッズにたくさん音読練習をしてもらう楽しい仕掛けや企画をいっぱいしていこうと思います。

Happy New Year! This is Emi Nakamura from Actimethod Hamamatsu Takaoka School. I’d love to hear what your New Year’s
resolutions are. As for me, one of my resolutions is to encourage my students to put more effort
into reading aloud.

When I was a student, I wasn’t interested in English at all—in fact, I wasn’t really interested in studying at all. After
I graduated, I worked as a receptionist at a hotel, where I met a lot of foreign guests. Communicating with people from all over the world got me interested in speaking English. So in a way, I was a late bloomer as an English learner.

Even so, I eventually became an English teacher and have taught at various English schools and vocational schools
for nearly 30 years. I owe a lot of that to my love of reading. Once I started reading books in English, I made it a habit to
read aloud, and I still do. I’m a firm believer in the power of reading aloud because it helps you use your eyes, your mouth, your ears,
and even your fingers if you’re following along with the text. It gradually immerses you in English in a really effective way.

This year, I’m planning a lot of fun events and activities to get my students reading aloud more often. So please look forward to it!”
